2.1.22054 |
Updates in this version:
- Fixed MVPMedia.exe's steadily increasing memory usage. This was
introduced in the previous 22050 release.
- Red and Green "Cancel" and "Apply" buttons have been "swapped" left
and right. Now they match the ordering on the Remote Control. This feels
much better.
- After any sort, all directories are always listed at the top (and in
the order as sorted). All directory/file sorting and listing needs more
work still. Stay tuned...
- Installer now puts these Release Notes in the Hauppauge MediaMVP
director
- A little faster than the previous version
This is a complete installer, and includes the MediaMVP application,
MediaMVP Server application and Search for Media application. |

First beta of 2.0 ? |
| 1.1.22020 |
- Skip button now skips 30 seconds in videos.
- 0-9 buttons will jump to 10%, 20%, 30%, etc. of videos being played
back, plus media lists. For example, if you click '5' when watching a
video, you will skip to 50% of its program length.
- Faster generation of thumbnails.
- Minor bug fixes.
- Now includes a TV screen saver. Hit any key on the remote to get out
of the screensaver. A future version will have an adjustable timer for
the screensaver, but right now it is fixed at 30 seconds.
- This version supports up to 12 MediaMVPs on one network. The actual
number of MediaMVPs which can be supported is limited by the available
bandwidth of your network (100MBit/sec networks recommended for
supporting the largest number of MediaMVPs).
- Now supports 8 languages. Languages are selectable in the
"Settings" menu.
- This version can turn off 'thumbnailing' in the "Settings"
menu. This speeds up the display of menus.
- Bug fix for the early stopping of MP3 files.
- Fixes hang in screen saver. Also, any button will exit screen saver,
but will not cause an action until the next button is hit.
- Note: if you experience system slowdown when navigating through the
"Video" menu on your TV set, there is a known problem when
making thumbnails of some MPEG videos. The temporary solution is to
turn off video thumbnailing in the "Settings" menu.
