Adding Weather Display to the MVP

A modification was posted in the MediaMVP forum at www.shspvr.com which provides the ability to add local weather information to the MediaMVP

This works by downloading weather data in XML format from The Weather Channel web site and then rendering an html page using this information. The page is accessed by pressing the '0' button on the remote when at the main 'Go' menu.

This mod also allows the MVP to display up to nine other web pages of your choice

Although the setup process sounds a little daunting it is actually pretty simple is very well documented in the README file which is enclosed in the posted software and should take no more than 20-30 mins, including the time to sign up for the XML feed. Study the README file carefully first.
